SYNOPSIS FOR NORTHERN CALIFORNIA WATERS
.Currently gentle north winds will persist through early Monday. Northerlies will gradually increase during the day in the outer waters and briefly push close to shore in the northern waters late in the afternoon with gusts peaking just over 20 kts. Short period seas will steepen in response over 6 feet. At the same time, a mid period westerly swell up to 9 feet will build early Monday and persist through the day. Northerlies and the mid period swell will both gradually weaken into midweek.
