SYNOPSIS FOR PUERTO RICO AND THE U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS WATERS

A surface high pressure over the western Atlantic will continue to promote fresh to locally strong easterly winds throughout most of the workweek. Seas will continue to build between 6 and 9 feet across the regional waters during the next several days. As a result, hazardous seas are anticipated for most of the local waters through much of the workweek. A surface trough will persist over the area promoting shower and thunderstorm activity for the next few days.
