West central North Atlantic continental shelf and slope waters beyond 20 nm to 250 nm offshore, including south of Georges Bank from 1000 fm to 250 nm offshore.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS
Low pressure over the northern waters will track NE tonight while pulling a cold front SE across the central and S waters. High pressure will build to the coast Thu, settle offshore Thu night into Fri, then gradually shift E later Fri and Fri night. A cold front will move into the N portions Fri, then stall briefly over the northern waters Fri night into Sat before lifting back N of the area as a warm front late Sat and Sat night. A high pressure ridge will persist across the southern waters Sun and Sun night while the warm front continues to slowly move N across the New England waters. Then on Mon and Mon night another cold front will pass E over the waters.
